Love North Devon has just two properties for holidays on Down Farm, an idyllic 53 acre estate, situated between Barnstaple and South Molton on the edge of Exmoor.

The farm is lightly worked, kept immaculately in check by a flock of Devonshire Long Wool Sheep that roam the organically managed fields surrounding the properties. A dozen hens explore the farm yard and provide guests with the opportunity to collect their own eggs every morning and feed the hens, often waiting at your window or kitchen door!

There's a beautiful ancient wood (complete with tree house) of oaks, beech and ash providing shelter to red deer that meander down to the stream most mornings and a hidden lake stocked with carp and wild brown trout, which you're welcome to fish (rods supplied).

You're sure to see one of our cats around the yard on  your walk(that's Charlie at the top of the tree on the left and below) and Amanda looks after a couple of cats for the charity, Cats Protection League so there's always a cat looking for a cuddle and a stroke.
